i deleted my posts - sorry guys - because i think theyre in violation of hippa. i think thats spelled right. even though i never gave his real name, i still gave a huge accounting of his behaviors, and i think thats a bad thing. so i deleted them. :( oh well

so i started stap this week. stap stands for summer theraputic activities program. my company works with the school districts to create a "fun based program" for kids with autism. and for those of you who dont know, they are to be refered to as such. not autistic kids, or kids suffering from autism, but kids with autism. they are, first, kids, who happen to have autism. lol just like gay people are people who happen to be gay. lol

anyway, we had to kick one kid out cuz he was too violent. if it were the school, itd be a different issue, and we'd work on his behaviors. but i think a large part of his behaviors are because he is bilingual. and barely so. he speaks most spanish... so me telling him "quiet hands!" means nothing to him. meanwhile, he continues to act out. it wasnt up to me, obviously, but since our ratios is 2-1, it was impossible for me to keep up with him and another kid.

oh, and also, i managed to fracture my fibula this week at the park. i rolled my ankle. so they put me in one of htose mad sexy boots w velcro and prevents u from bending ur foot. u feel like ur 2 inches taller on that side, and like u got a wooden leg. its super annoying. they also gave me, however, a ankle brace so that i dont have to wear the damn boot to bed. woot. thankfully the fibula is the bone u dont need to walk, so i can walk. just very carefully, and for limited amounts of time.
